Game one of Lob City vs. Memphis was the most exciting playoff action so far in the first round. The Grizzlies watched their 27-point lead evaporate until it resembled basketball in Vancouver – extinct. How a team responds after a devastating hit below the belt like that is sometimes hard to predict. Losing a 27-point lead is probably similar to the feeling you’d have after being left at the altar. Everything was going good, you just couldn’t finish. Tonight, Memphis can either spiral into depression and lose game 2 — or drink the beer that they bought and hit on some of the would-be bridesmaids. Either way, we’ve got a full slate of bets for the game to let us eat cake.

He's losing his mind...and I'm reaping the benefits
1st Half Clippers vs. Grizzlies (-4)
If there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that the Clippers have confidence. They took a knockout punch from Memphis and just stared at them like Adam Lambert was throwing it. Now that they know they can win in Memphis, you might see some Cali Swag come into play. The Clippers are getting 4 in the first half which I like but if they can somehow have the outright lead it pays out +175. That’s good value against a team that could be emotionally unstable. Take Clippers first half +175
Team With Highest Scoring Player Clippers +0.5 Pts.
In game 1, no player on either team scored above 20 points and bench man Nick Young of the Clippers was actually the leading scorer with 19 points. Griffin and Paul are always a threat of going for 25 points but as much as I hate to say it, I think Marc Gasol is the difference maker tonight. . Sorry I couldn’t even type that with a straight face. Chris Paul was only 5-12 shooting last game, in part because they were down so much for so long. I look for CP3 to rebound and be tonight’s leading scorer. Take the Clippers +0.5.

"Now a lock from your idiot brother and my Gasol voodoo collection will be ready for London 2012"
Chris Paul Points Over 19.5 Points
See above. You could either take Memphis to have the leading scorer and hedge it with this under (in the hopes that Blake Griffin or Nick Young don’t erupt) or go all in on CP3 dropping 27….I’ll settle for 20. Take CP3 over 19.5 points.
Chris Paul Assists Over 9.5
A CP3 triple double could result in our wallets getting padded tonight and Chris Paul dropped 11 dimes in game 1. Of course, Vinny Del Negro is just as likely to sit Paul in the 3rd quarter and forget he’s on the bench until 2:00 left in the 4th…hopefully he has 10 assists by then. Take over 9.5 assists.
Blake Griffin Total Points 20.5
The over in this one is paying out +120 so it’s very tempting to hope the Blake Show turns in a 23 to 28 point night. Griffin only had 17 points in the first game but he left 5-8 points on the court, possibly due to 1st playoff game jitters. You just can’t pass up that payout in this prop bet. Take Griffin over 20.5 points

Blake loves playing these Gasol's.
Marc Gasol Points & Rebounds Under 22.5
There’s been way too many Gasol’s on my TV screen in the past two nights, thank God I only watch the games on a 19″ black & white. The purported big man only had 4 rebounds in Game 1 and didn’t like banging with DeAndre Jordan or Reggie Evans. He did have 14 points and was a +10 for the night but any time you can win money and wallow in a poor stat night for a Gasol, it’s worth the bet. Take under 22.5 points and rebounds

"Whadda you think of dad's new girlfriend?" "You smell good."
Mike Conley Total Assists Over 6.5
For almost three days Mike Conley has had to listen about how Chris Paul willed the Clippers to victory and played his tail off but in all honesty, Conley had a great game 1. He scored 17 points including 5-5 from downtown and dished out 8 assists. I look for Conley to play with a chip on his shoulder tonight and reach double digits in assists…as long as none go to a Gasol. Take over 6.5 assists.
Clippers vs. Grizzlies Game
This game is intriguing and I will be watching it in the entirety(or until George Lopez comes on). Vegas opened the game at -5 and it has been bet up to Memphis -6.5. Funny thing is, only 40% of the public is on Memphis so why is the line moving that way? What we saw in game 1 was that Memphis has the ability to dominate the Clippers as long as their ADHD doesn’t kick in. The 6.5 seems high but the Grizzlies are just too good of a team not to come back roaring tonight. Perhaps they might even have a pregame of Bryant Reeves singing an inspirational Big Country song…take Memphis -6.5
