@inneroni If you play cricket very often, like all thr pros do, your hands start to get tougher, so when the ball hits your hands, it doesnt hurt as much. Besides, it doesnt hurt anyway if you catch the ball properly, it only hurts if it bounces straight out of your hand. Only baseball pussies use gloves.

An innings is closed when 1 of 2 things happens , either you get 10 outs , or bowl so many deliveries One day game , 300 pitches per side in sets of 6 called an over. 20/20 game, 120 pitches per side again in sets of 6 , called an over. Hence 20 overs game , or 50 overs game.
